Workshop T's & C's

Workshop T's & C's

It's important at TALVI that all our students work in a safe manner and environment. Please read the following regarding your safety and studio etiquette at our studio.

  • * Students must wear covered shoes, long pants or skirt and have long hair tied back when working with tools at TALVI Studio.

  •  Do not wear any dangly jewellery or loose clothing which has the potential of becoming entangled with workshop equipment. We suggest natural fibres are worn (as they are less flammable) and preferably leather shoes.

  • Appropriate safety gear (PPE) must be worn when using equipment.

  •  All students will be shown how to use appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment).

  • TALVI Studio will provide training in how to use all equipment and machinery relevant to students during the course they are undertaking.

  • It is also essential that no equipment or machinery be used while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or without permission by Talvi (Asha) first.

  • While all care will be taken, it is the responsibility of the student to follow all instructions, use all the equipment in a safe and responsible manner and to not use equipment if they haven’t been instructed on its safe use.

Please do not hesitate to ask for guidance if you are unsure of the safe operation of any tools or equipment.
