Welcome to Talvi Studio. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

About Talvi

Talvi Studio is an Australian jewellery studio creating handcrafted jewellery in recycled precious metals. Many of our pieces are individually made or finished by hand, meaning each piece is unique and may contain natural variations that form part of its character.

Product Information

We take great care to ensure all product descriptions, measurements and photographs accurately represent our jewellery.

As each piece is handmade: 

• slight variations in texture, finish, dimensions and weight may occur.
• handcrafted finishes such as hammering, sand casting and organic textures are intentionally unique and should not be considered faults.

Product images are intended as a guide only. Colours may appear differently depending on your screen or device.

Pricing

All prices are shown in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Prices include GST where applicable.

Prices may change without notice due to fluctuations in precious metal markets, supplier pricing or manufacturing costs, production costs or other business considerations.

Order Acceptance

Submitting an order does not automatically constitute acceptance of that order.

All orders are subject to acceptance, availability and verification by Talvi.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order where:

• a product has been listed in error
• incorrect pricing, product descriptions or images have been displayed
• stock is unavailable
• materials or components cannot reasonably be sourced
• production is no longer possible
• we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity.

If payment has already been received for an order that cannot be fulfilled, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Product Availability

Many Talvi pieces are handcrafted in limited quantities.

Occasionally a product may remain visible on our website due to administrative or technical error after it has been discontinued or removed from sale.

If an item becomes unavailable before dispatch, we reserve the right to cancel the order and provide a full refund.

Custom & Made-to-Order Jewellery

Custom pieces and made-to-order jewellery are created specifically for you.

Production will commence after payment has been received unless otherwise agreed.

Once work has commenced:

• custom orders cannot be cancelled
• deposits are non-refundable
• design changes may incur additional charges.

Timeframes provided are estimates only.

Ring Sizes

Customers are responsible for selecting the correct ring size.

If you are unsure, we recommend purchasing one of our ring sizers before ordering.

Charges may apply for resizing depending on the design and metal.

Some rings cannot be resized due to their construction.

Payment

Payment must be received before your order is dispatched.

We accept approved payment methods displayed during checkout.

Shipping

Shipping, delivery estimates and dispatch information are outlined in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

Returns & Refunds

Our Returns & Refunds Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions and explains your rights under Australian Consumer Law, together with our policies regarding returns, exchanges and refunds.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use and protect your personal information.

Jewellery Care

Silver naturally tarnishes over time.

Gold, silver and gemstones require appropriate care to maintain their appearance.

Customers are responsible for following the care instructions provided by Talvi on the website.

Intellectual Property

All Talvi designs, photographs, logos, product descriptions, artwork and website content remain the intellectual property of Talvi Studio unless otherwise stated.

No material may be reproduced without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Talvi shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or website.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights provided under Australian Consumer Law.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
