Make your wedding rings truly special by crafting them yourself at TALVI's private workshop at the foot of Mt Riddell, Healesville, Yarra Valley.
This Wedding Ring Making Workshop runs over two seperate days, the 1st being about 4hrs and the 2nd about 2hrs for finishing,if you choose to do that part yourselves.
This offers the opportunity for you and your partner to create your own customised rings unique to you.
What this workshop is: Perfect for the minimalist, more simple designs, meaningfully made by you. Embrace the unique, handmade imperfections.
What this workshop isn't: Fine jewellery styles, perfectly finished bling, diamonds, glitz and glam.
Your ring making journey will be casual and light-hearted, it will be photographed for you throughout the course of the workshop and photos sent to you, so you can look back on the experience.
On the day you'll be provided with all the tools you need, aswell as coffee, tea and hot chocolate. A cheese/grazing platter with a selection of meats and anti pasto is provided for your lunch and some desserts to finish off the day! Catered by our local mates at Badger Creek Blueberry Winery & St Ronans Cider!
LOST WAX METHOD: You'll hand carve your rings from wax 1st, this method is perfect to personalise your rings! It allows for fingerprint impressions, scribing and organic styles.
They'll be sent offsite for casting by professional jewellery casters in Melbourne, you'll have the option of coming back to finish them yourselves, by filing, sanding and polishing them or have them finished by Asha at the studio, for that professional finish and come back to collect them and make sure the sizing is just right!
Pricing is per couple:
Both rings in 9CT GOLD: $2300
Up to 5grams of gold per ring is included in the pricing. For rings that weigh more than this, you will be charged per gram at cost price ontop of the allowance.

Availability to do the workshop is Saturdays & Sundays, starting at 10am and finishing around 2/3pm.
The finishing process should only take up to 2 hrs and can be booked on a weekend day from 10am till 12pm, or if needed we can arrange a midweek evening.
